Dr. Rui Gao brings over 30 years of experience in modeling and simulation to his work. He first began using Modelica in the early 2000s during his tenure at Toyota Technical Development Corporation. His focus on Modelica technology continued through subsequent roles at Dassault Systèmes and Modelon.
Dr. Gao has been instrumental in advancing Modelica and FMI adoption across Asia, having organized a series of related events in Japan, Korea, and China. He also served as Conference Chair for the Asian Modelica Conference in 2020 and 2022. Most recently, at the Modelica Assembly, he was elected Secretary of the Modelica Association Board.
Dr. Gao currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Nanjing Yuansi Simtek Co., Ltd. in China.
