Bitcoin is for anyone/everyone. But if you spend any significant amount of time on social media, you could be mistaken for thinking otherwise. What are some of the problems caused by political tribalism, and how can we address them?
It's common to see people on social media say things like, "everyone gets in at the price they deserve"; "Bitcoin is equal opportunity so it's not our fault if they don't get it"; or even "those kinds of people don't deserve Bitcoin". I want to show why these attitudes are wrong. You can't make a decision on something you know nothing about, and many people - Bitcoiners included - only learn about something because someone they already agree with on other things started talking about it. Things from 'the other side' are automatically dismissed, and even if they may have had merit, the ones doing the dismissing will never know.
Beyond just showing why the attitudes are wrong, I want to provide a positive message about what we can do to work towards fixing this, and making Bitcoin truly a money for anyone/everyone.
