15/11/2024 –, Mises Stage
This work is the product of a collaboration among Bitcoiner artists, launched two years ago at Adopting Bitcoin, for the purpose of creating a Rock Opera monumentalizing the origin of Satoshi in a way that honors the mystery and touches people's hearts.
The goal is to inspire a journey of self-sovereignty through a work of art that can be both celebrated by Bitcoiners and appreciated by muggles.
This version is a milestone: twelve original songs with genuine physical art; sung by AI. The ultimate form will be a version with original human music, animation, and a stage performance.
This story is composed of twelve poems, hand lettered, each with a watercolor illustration and a song, creating a "Graphic Novella in Verse". The content can be previewed on X: @tj_de_la_playa.
Synopsis:
In a world brimming with potential, yet overshadowed by corruption, a child is born with the gift of analytical insight. He dreams of building a brighter future, but as he grows, the very system he serves betrays him. Disillusioned, he vows to tear it down.
As his struggle deepens, despair threatens to consume him—until an ethereal vision offers redemption, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose. Guided by this divine encounter, he rediscovers the inherent goodness of nature and sets out to empower humanity through self-sovereignty.
He meets a woman who shares his vision, and together they form a powerful bond. Working in secret, they strip away the unnecessary, striving to create a tool of immense civilizational power. But they realize that for their vision to succeed, she must be its voice and messenger.
As she unveils their creation, corruption strikes back, nearly crushing her. In a desperate hour, he rallies their allies to her rescue. Together, they leave behind a shining beacon of hope to inspire the future.
Their mission complete, the future is ours to build.

Had a long corporate career, have lately been making the most of the self-sovereignty that Bitcoin has afforded me by painting pictures from travels, and working on an audacious project to create a rock opera monumentalizing the origin of Satoshi as a romantic hero's journey.
