La Casa de Satoshi CDMX is a collaborative space in Mexico City dedicated to fostering Bitcoin adoption and education. By offering workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities, the initiative aims to empower individuals and communities to leverage Bitcoin for financial freedom and economic empowerment. Through knowledge sharing and hands-on experience, La Casa de Satoshi seeks to inspire attendees to replicate its success in their own communities, contributing to the global growth and adoption of Bitcoin.
Inspired by Satoshi Nakamoto's vision, La Casa de Satoshi CDMX is a space in Mexico City where technology, innovation, teamwork, critical thinking, and freedom converge. Satoshi was a visionary who planted trees so that future generations could enjoy their fruits, and his vision represents the essence of our project. Like him, we believe in the power of technology to transform the world and create a freer, more prosperous, and equitable future.
Peter Diamandis says that "Abundance does not consist of providing all inhabitants of this planet with a life of luxury, but of providing everyone with a life of possibilities. Technology is a resource-liberating mechanism that can make what was once scarce abundant now."
We find technology and all that can be achieved with it fascinating. Technology is a double-edged sword that can be used for good or for evil. That is what took us to do things like the 2084 - Make Orwell Fiction Again podcast. Along the way, came Bitcoin and it turned into an obession because of its liberating force. A few months ago, while having breakfast outside the Bitcoin Park in Nashville, we realized that this space was needed in Mexico City.
At La Casa de Satoshi CDMX, you will find a vibrant ecosystem where you can explore and learn about the technologies that are transforming the way we live, work, and relate to each other. Bitcoin, Lightning Network, Artificial Intelligence, Nostr, innovations in energy, robotics, among others, are just some of the technologies for freedom that will have their home here in this building.
At Adopting Bitcoin 2024, we will host a workshop to teach our learnings and inspire other bitcoiners to do the same thing in their hometown!
