Cubby
For the last 15 years, I've worked oddball jobs in design, customer experience, and software architecture. Clients include startups, Walmart, UHG, and ≈NSA. I've been doing informal Bitcoin education since 2018 and have orange pilled hundreds of people. In 2021, I joined Custodia Bank and founded their design team, helping to bring Bitcoin custody and other products into the bank. Since getting laid off in September 2024, I've been focused on building AI tooling and products that fight against Big Tech and for traditional American values.
I'm an expat living in El Salvador in the mountains to the west, and have been here since late 2023.

Sessions
Around September 2024, Cubby was laid off by a Bitcoin(ish) company and has been building independent and decentralized AI for the last 12 months as a solo founder. A few products are in alpha state (expect bugs!) but several are live.
This is partially a workshop, but mostly an introduction to what Colon Hyphen bracket, CHB or :-], is building toward. We believe in self-custodied data, models, pre-processors, post-processors, and a more free and open internet. In order to achieve this, AI must help humans curate quality. Without equal access to information, humanity is doomed.
