My First Bitcoin began as an improbable idea in El Salvador in 2021--that independent bitcoin education could change the world.

One bitcoin cycle later and that local experiment has become a global movement. Bitcoin education projects in more than 40 nations around the world use our open-source materials, contribute their own best-practices and support each other, turning what could have been isolated silos into a global movement.

This is a story of an idea whose time has come.
