Why are women interested in money but not in owning Bitcoin? Why aren’t women in Bitcoin? Why are women interested in money but not owning Bitcoin? This talk explores those questions through my story as a Salvadoran woman, former fashion designer, and now digital nomad who found freedom in Bitcoin. I’ll share how society has trained women to spend instead of save, and why Bitcoin offers sovereignty, protection, and balance. Femininity is not weakness. It’s intuition, resilience, and community. By reconnecting women with these strengths, Bitcoin can open the door to the next wave of adoption.
Why aren't women in Bitcoin? Why are women interested in money but not owning Bitcoin?
This recently resonated with me after a Bitcoiner asked me this question. And maybe in that moment, I didn’t have the best answer because I usually don’t like to talk about women needing Bitcoin, because the reality is people need Bitcoin without exception. Not just women.
But that question stayed with me in my head. And the more I thought about it, the more I realized… maybe the answer isn’t about Bitcoin itself. Maybe the answer is about us, about women, about our relationship with money, and about what it means to be feminine in a digital world.
I became a digital nomad, using Bitcoin to fund my life. And as I traveled, I noticed something: women weren’t entering Bitcoin in the same numbers as men. And I started asking: why?
Here’s what I realized. Women do want financial independence. We want to earn money. But why don’t we own Bitcoin?
Because this Fiat Society has trained women to spend rather than save. To express femininity through consumption (fashion, beauty, lifestyle), things that often drain wealth instead of building it. Banks, credit systems, and debts for living.
When Bitcoin arrives, with its technical jargon and aggressive culture, it doesn’t feel welcoming. It feels intimidating, foreign. And yet, Bitcoin is precisely what women need. Because it gives us sovereignty without permission, it reconnects us with what we’ve lost in the noise of consumerism: our feminine energy.
My name is Pamela. I’m Salvadoran. I’m a proud Bitcoiner working as a YouTube Strategist for Bitcoin-only YouTube channels. I am a digital nomad and I have been passionate about Bitcoin since 2022, when I decided to quit my job as a fashion designer in El Salvador. Since then, I have not stopped being happy. I live the life of my dreams.
A few years ago, I was living a pretty traditional life back in El Salvador. Wake up early, get ready for work, work, get tired, 1 hour traffic to go back home, and the next day, same routine. I feel I wasn't living, and honestly, I was 25. That's when I discovered Bitcoin, and it wasn’t just about money; it was about truly experiencing freedom and control over my time.
I left my 9–5 job, packed my bags, and became a nomad, using Bitcoin to fund my life.
