I would like to cover the basics of Bitcoin Mining and how anybody, in a permissionless way can turn their energy resources into the hardest money humankind has ever known. GAMA has recently launched the "Seed Program" which helps people in Africa to get started in mining. We supply ASICs below cost and education to get them started, to join GAMA down the road.
Bitcoin is difficult. Bitcoin Mining and the intersection with energy grids even more so. I would like to give everyone a basic overview of what Bitcoin Mining is and how it works. I think, with the focus of freedom focus of the conference, explaining how anybody can turn natural energy resources available to them into the hardest currency ever known to man, is an important feature. Additionally, I would like to present the GAMA Seed program and the resources that GAMA (Green African Mining Alliance) is offering. The Seed Program is a way for newcomers to get started. Once you apply and your circumstances make sense you have access to refurbished hardware way below cost to get started mining. Along with this comes education around the technical details and economic side of the business.
