Khalid Ibrahim
Khalid Ibrahim is the Executive Director of the Gulf Centre for human
rights (GCHR) in charge of management, programme development, fundraising and
training. He is an Iraqi human right defender with decades of experience
in the human rights field, including more than ten years in Dublin a
staff of Frontline Defenders. There, he had the chance to work on human
rights issues in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. In
2011, he decided to focus on human rights in the Gulf region and
neighbouring countries. He co-founded the Gulf Center for Human Rights
(GCHR).
