Elodie Vialle is a consultant for PEN America’s Online Abuse Defense Program. She is a journalist working at the intersection of journalism, technology, and human rights, with a focus on countering online abuse of journalists while protecting freedom of expression. Vialle is also an affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center.

Jeje Mohamed is the program manager for digital safety and free expression at PEN America. She has over nine years of experience working on human rights issues, journalism, and safety and security in the Middle East and internationally. Previously, she was a Next-Gen Safety Trainers fellow with the International Women’s Media Foundation, developing inclusive and trauma-informed safety and security training. She managed several campaigns and programs focusing on racial disparities and human rights violations in Egypt and exile. She led and took part in the production of documentaries focusing on social issues and founded Witness Magazine which covered human rights abuses in Egypt and the Middle East.

Mohammed is the Digital Security Helpline Director at Access Now. He was shortlisted in the Index on Censorship’s Freedom of Expression Awards 2019 and Security Serious Unsung Heroes Awards 2020. He was a member of the panel of experts for the Dutch Government Tulip Prize for Human Rights 2021. He discovered phone hacking of human rights defenders and journalists in Palestine, Bahrain, and Jordan.

Mirvat Salameh is an international development program officer and project management consultant with expertise on democracy and good governance in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Her years of program management experience in the development sector focuses on freedom of expression, internet and psychosocial safety, local civic participation, inclusion of marginalized communities, civil society capacity building and parliamentary strengthening. Currently, Mirvat is serving as a project manager for the adaptation and translation of PEN America and the National Democratic Institute's (NDI) Online Harassment Field Manual into Arabic and for a MENA audience.

Amer Ammache is a Program Associate with the Middle East and North Africa team at the National Democratic Institute (NDI), based in Washington D.C. In his role, Amer supports international development programs working on freedom of expression, local civil society capacity building, inclusion of marginalized communities and digital literacy and online safety in the MENA region. In addition to supporting the adaptation and translation of PEN America and NDI's Online Harassment Field Manual into Arabic and for a MENA audience, Amer currently manages NDI's E-learning Platform, TaalamSharek.
