Call for Papers: BSides Bristol 2025

BSides Bristol is back! We’re thrilled to invite speakers, researchers, tinkerers, and troublemakers from across the security spectrum to submit their talks, workshops, and demos for this year’s event.

BSides is a community-driven, grassroots cybersecurity conference focused on sharing ideas, showcasing research, and sparking conversations. Whether you’re a seasoned pro, an academic, or just passionate about security, we want to hear your voice.

📅 Event Date: 5th & 6th September, 2025
📍 Location: UWE Frenchay Campus, Bristol

We're open to a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
- Offensive & defensive security
- Incident response & threat hunting
- Vulnerability research & exploit development
- Red teaming, blue teaming & purple teaming
- Cloud, IoT, and mobile security
- Secure development practices
- Privacy, policy, and security culture
- Career development in cybersecurity

From deep dives and technical walk-throughs to personal stories and policy discussions - we welcome it all. If it's thought-provoking, hands-on, or just plain cool, we want to see it.

Talk Formats:
- 40-minute talks – Perfect for deeper technical explorations and storytelling.
- 20-minute talks – Ideal for 1st time or less experienced speakers.
- Workshops & Villages – Interactive, hands-on sessions (please include prerequisites and setup instructions).

First-Time Speaker?
We love to support new voices. If you’ve never presented at a conference before, don’t be shy! Let us know in your submission—we’re happy to offer mentorship and support along the way.
