BSides London 2026 will take place on Saturday 12 December 2026 at the Novotel London West.
1 Shortlands Hammersmith International Centre, London, W6 8DR

We'll be hosting three presentation tracks, several workshops and our famous and popular Rookie Speakers Track.
All tracks are in person only and cannot be presented remotely.

Types of Submissions

You will have the option to select what type of submission you are making. These are the options:
Talk Our standard 45-minute presentation in one of the main conference tracks. Open to everyone.
Workshop Workshop proposal. Share your knowledge in a practical, hands-on session. Workshops may be 2 or 4 hours in duration. We will also consider longer workshops where they provide clear value to participants.
Rookies track This track is intended for first-time public speakers only. Presentations are 15 minutes long and limited to a single speaker per presentation. Other than that, there are no additional restrictions. A mentor can be provided to offer advice, guidance and encouragement throughout the process, we highly recommend taking advantage of this.

Scope

We're looking for original, engaging presentations covering any aspect of information security. Topics may include attack, defence, analysis, architecture, applications, protocols, networks, systems, practical experience, research or theory, if it's interesting to the wider community, we'd love to hear about it.

As usual the conference theme is not prescriptive of the presentations, proposals may include (but are not limited to) the following topics:

• Physical security and lockpicking
• Robotics (bonus points for bringing an actual robot)
• Security management
• Social engineering
• Web Application security
• Usable security
• Virtualisation and cloud computing

Dates and notifications:

All calls will open on 1 August and close on 30 September.
We aim to complete the selection process by 12 October , with all applicants notified around that time whether their submission has been accepted.
If your submission is accepted, we'll need your confirmation by 26 October so we can finalise and publish the conference schedule, which we aim to release on 1 November .
If we don't receive a response by this date, we may offer your speaking slot to another presenter.

Important things to note:

Following the closure of the Calls, no further amendments to proposals will be allowed.
If a second person is due to present with you, you need to ensure they are already registered and listed on your proposal, they cannot be added after the calls close.

What is BSides?

Each BSides is a community-driven framework for building events by and for members of the information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next big thing are happening.

As BSides London is a free-to-attend, community-led conference organised and run by volunteers, we're unable to reimburse travel or accommodation expenses..
Speaking at BSides London carries genuine professional recognition. Whether you're presenting your first talk or your fiftieth, you'll be contributing to one of the UK's largest community-run information security conferences.
If you're traveling from abroad, London is a fantastic destination, offering a wide variety of cultural, artistic, and entertainment options. The venue is just a short Underground ride from central London.
