The risks to organizations from compromised data continues to grow, with cyber hijacking being the latest example of a growing list of threats. Organizations and the tech industry in general have responded with new solutions to control network access, and new features to limit browser access. But these solutions can have serious, unintended consequences when it comes to authentication and access functionality of library resources. Learn more about this subject and the experience of William Osler Health System in dealing with access issues caused by IT installing security software.

Michelle holds a PhD in Music History from the University of Chicago and a MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois.
