Everyone has a different reason for playing with hypnosis! We all come from different places, and sometimes those differences get missed when we talk about hypnosis theory or try to negotiate a scene. This discussion group will cover different motivations and approaches to hypnokink, give everyone more tools to help improve communication within our community, and maybe show you new perspectives that might make your scenes even more fun!
Some of the topics we will cover:
- Treating a kink as a "means" vs. as an "ends"
- The differences between a "hypnosis kink" and a "mind control kink"
- The differences between a "kink" and a "fetish"
- How neurodivergences and queer identities impact kink
Milly has been into Hypnosis and Mind Control for as long as she knew what "being into something" meant. After joining the broader hypnokink scene in early 2021, she started to learn techniques and ideas that would help her be a better subject (and after a little while in the scene, a better switch). Having joined the scene during pandemic lockdowns, much of her experience is from remote opportunities, and she's developed a number of methods for re-creating play that would normally only be possible in physical space. She loves learning about how other people interact with their kinks, and sharing knowledge with others about what she enjoys about hers. Outside of kink she has a very large board game collection, an interest in writing short stories, and way too many unfinished in-progress creative projects.
