Negotiation for play often takes the form of a specific discussion of what will and won’t happen in a scene, so that everyone (hopefully) knows where the limits are and approximately what to expect. Sometimes, however, this may make things feel less exciting for those like the thrill of not knowing what’s coming next. This class will cover how to safely and ethically negotiate for surprises in play using principles of informed consent, as well as how to establish standing consent rules for surprise or “ambush” play in ongoing dynamics with established partners.
KoriCountersign is a hypnnobottom and sadomasochistic switch with a penchant for pointy things and creative play. Some of their favorite things include: rope bondage, hypnosis, incomprehensible eldritch beings, and visual arts. As a former member of the South Florida kink scene, she ran a Miami-based hypnokink educational group before moving up here to the Mid-Atlantic.
