Sometimes, the biggest obstacle to play is simply getting on the same page with an current or potential partner; whether that means sparking a conversation, finding a time, or articulating your wants. This class has two goals: To empower attendees to approach potential play partners and provide the framework they need to negotiate a scene (or understand what someone wants out of a session beyond "wanting to be mindless").
To do this, we'll cover various respectful ways to approach someone, including social cues and ways to signal interest. We will also be covering what constitutes effective communication/context, and the necessary elements of logistics for meeting up.
Most important of all, we'll cover how to actually ask for what you want.
