Hyp-Knot a Rope Class
01-14, 15:15–16:15 (US/Eastern), Mainsail West / Dungeon

Rope is a beautiful and versatile tool, but it can be intimidating to get into! Join Kiwi and Moonie to bind hypnosis and rope in this beginner-friendly hands-on class. While we will not be teaching Shibari or complicated rope ties, we will be covering some fundamental rope skills, rope as a tool in hypnosis, hypnosis as a tool for rope, and hypnotic bondage with no rope involved. Whether you’re a lazy top (like me), intimidated by rope (like me), or unable to use traditional rope ties for body-reasons, this class will help you engage with knotty fantasies without the burden of needing to be “good” at rope.

CW: consensual non-consent, sadism, partial nudity, demonstrations, hypnotic language

Kiwi is a graduate student with the Science of BDSM research team. They have been practicing, studying, and presenting on kink-related topics for six years to academic and BDSM audiences including Kinky Kollege, the Master/slave Conference, Leather Leadership Conference, and the Charmed!, and serve as a member of the Beguiled Conference Committee. Academically, they focus on consent and identity from an intersectional queer perspective. In practice, they identify as a switch who enjoys hypnosis, anything to do with leather, and discovering new fun ways to titillate the mind and body with pleasure and pain.
