Taking the Senses - Modalities Exposed
2024-01-14 , Coastal East (hybrid classes)

There are six modalities: Visual, Audio, Kinesthetic, Gustatory, Olfactory, and Audio Digital. Broadly, they connect to the main senses of the human mind. However, as you may or may not know, there are more senses then we learned about in grade school. Our senses and perception of space, electricity, pain, internal biological processes, hunger, temperature, and more exist separately from the commonly known five or six senses. Can't we invoke and use these perceptions and senses as hypnotic modalities? How do we prevent ourselves from getting fixated on our favorite senses, and step outside of our comfort zones? Join us as we examine the modalities we don't talk about or consider, as well as connect with the old favorites. We'll find ways to use the more common methods of trances to invoke these other perceptions, as well as explore the senses in ways you may have never even considered!

Harrison K. Hall (He/They), is a 42 year old, gender confused, autistic Hobbit. He has been practicing erotic hypnosis since late 2018, and joined the community more actively during the virtual conventions of the blistering COVID hellscape that was 2020. When not hypnotizing a member of their polycule on Discord, they are probably cooking, crafting a prop of some sort, or drinking coffee at a speed that concerns passersby. They live live in South Eastern Pennsylvania, and you can find him as "AutisticHobbit" on fetlife or @HypnoticHobbit on Twitter.

With over a decade of teaching experience, I have specialized in sensory integration, accommodating sensory needs in both adults and children. Combining my expertise with a personal interest in kink, I aim to explore how sensory experiences can enhance engagement for individuals with different neurological profiles. By bridging the study of sensory integration and the world of kink, I create inclusive spaces for authentic expression. I am excited to share my insights at this convention, exchanging knowledge, challenging assumptions, and pushing the boundaries of understanding. Let's delve into the world of sensory integration in kink, embracing diversity and individuality, as we unlock new possibilities and promote a more fulfilling experience within this realm.
