Ericksonian hypnosis is so much more than meets the eye, and has been analyzed extensively for many years -- by many people with many opinions who claim to “get it.” But we ourselves can learn how to analyze his model of hypnosis and see what we can interpret from it.

In this collaborative class/discussion, we will look at selections from his book “Hypnotic Realities” as a group and really strive to dive deep into the text itself to be able to understand and extrapolate from it. We will NOT be looking at the “hypnotic language” directly -- instead we will focus on the conceptual aspects of Ericksonian hypnosis through the way it is described in the book.

This class is most suitable for those who understand the basics of hypnosis and have at least some experience. We don’t want to wall anyone off, but if you are a complete beginner, we will not have time to go over 101 material. Prior reading of Erickson is not at all necessary but is certainly welcome!
