2025-01-26 , Coastal West (hybrid classes)

There are so many varied and exciting ways to go into hypnosis -- let's take some time to explore different aspects of hypnotic language and techniques to develop some shared language for discussing what suits us in a given trance situation. For hypnotees, we'll talk about doing a self-inventory of where you might fall on multiple ranges that apply to each stage of a your session, setting you up to have informed discussions with hypnotists you are working with. For hypnotists, we'll challenge you to expand from your comfort zone to meet your hypnotees at a place where they can find their best trance. This talk is geared toward both hypnotees and hypnotists at a 102 level, but even seasoned veterans might find out new things about themselves or new ways connect with their hypnotees.

Kinda tall. Likes to ramble about stuff. Had a hard time getting initial success with hypnosis and like to help others in a similar position.

SleepyCub (or Bangers, or Sean) has been interested in hypnosis for as long as he can remember. He started dipping his feet in around 20 years ago now, but he didn't finally start going to any meetups or cons until 2017.

He started presenting at hypno cons in 2022, but he spent the early part of his career as a high school language arts teacher. He has a background in education and journalism (and a great radio voice), and now lives in Chicago with his husband of five years, working for a K-12 learning company.
