DESCRIPTION:<b>Introduction</b>: A health sciences librarian and an APRN ha
 ve partnered to develop a four month educational series for registered nur
 ses (RNs) and advanced practice providers (APPs) at our institution who ar
 e interested in research\, but aren’t sure how to get started. \n\n<b>Me
 thods/Description</b>: We are using a pre / post survey to gauge RN and AP
 P confidence with creating a research question\, performing a literature s
 earch\, reading and understanding literature\, and creating and presenting
  a research poster before and after a four month seminar series on these t
 opics. \n\n<b>Results/Outcomes</b>: RN and APP research output at our inst
 itution is currently low\, whether because of time constraints\, instituti
 onal support\, or confidence to pursue a research trajectory. Participants
  in our series have been guided through poster submission at a conference 
 relevant to their clinical specialty or research interest\, and in January
  2026\, the series will culminate in a casual poster symposium where all p
 articipants will present their research posters in front of peers and coll
 eagues. By the time of CHLA\, we will be prepared to discuss early success
 es of the project\, pre and post survey details\, and enrollment details. 
 \n\n<b>Discussion</b>: The series itself is a model for other librarians w
 ho are interested in increasing their outreach with nursing staff or nursi
 ng students. At CHLA\, we will discuss the series and series content in mo
 re detail\, and share preliminary findings from the pre and post survey\, 
 as well as details of successful poster submissions from our participants.
