SUMMARY:The Notebook Is the Backend: Serverless Grading for Jupyter(Lite)

DESCRIPTION:An instructor has JupyterLite\, an institutional LMS\, and no
grading server. Can\na notebook assignment still move through authoring\,
 distribution\, submission\,\nautomated grading\, review\, and collection?
\n\nThis talk presents a serverless architecture where the `.ipynb` file i
 s the\ndurable assessment artifact. Rubrics\, lifecycle state\, scores\, a
nd integrity\nchecks live in notebook metadata\; sensitive state is encryp
ted. The Jupyter\nfrontend orchestrates work with commands\, cold async ge
nerators\, bounded kernel\nleases\, and browser cryptography.\n\nA live SQ
L-kernel demo will show a database assignment graded by comparing\nstructu
red Jupyter outputs\, then reviewed\, certified\, and collected through an
\nLMS boundary. The point is architectural: what can safely move into the
\nnotebook and browser\, and what still needs an external authority?
