In this session we review EVPN Type-5 ip prefix routes and suboptimal routing that can arise when using type-5 interface-less model in some datacenter designs (EVPN/VXLAN). We look into the overlay index as a solution and have fun with recursive lookups.
Thomas is working as technical resource since 2019 at Arista. He loves to design networks and to learn about new protocols/standards/ideas/etc. In earlier days he had fun transporting IP over CLNP and afterwards transporting CLNP over IP, as well as many more interesting tasks. he was working in several roles,areas over the last +20y.
