DESCRIPTION:Starting with 1st of January\, 2026\, operators of public mobil
 e networks in Germany are obliged to\nemploy certified network products wi
 thin their networks. The obligation affects all network products\,\nwhich 
 are newly introduced into public mobile networks and provide functions\, f
 or which a security\nassessment document has been approved by the BSI. Thi
 s also includes network products\, which\nprovide 3GPP-specified functiona
 lities and are listed in the list of critical functions by the Federal\nOf
 fice for Information Security (BSI) and the Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA). \n
 The talk will address the necessary steps by operators of public mobile ne
 tworks to successfully include certification of network products into thei
 r procurement and onboarding processes. Therefore\, the talk will showcase
  the technical approaches taken in the certification process and how they 
 are intended to interplay with provider processes.
