DESCRIPTION:This talk aims to be a deep dive into how some of the OpenShif
 t networking\nis implemented under the hood.  Since OpenShift 4.12\, the d
 efault certified\nContainer Network Interface (CNI) has been ovn-kubernete
 s (OVN-K8s).  OVN-K8s\nprovides a Kubernetes networking solution by using 
 the open source\nOpen Virtual Networking (OVN) and Open vSwitch (OVS) proj
 ects at its core.\n\nWhile we plan to briefly describe how OVN-K8s configu
 res the OVN logical\nnetwork topology\, this talk _will not_ focus on that
 .  Instead\, the goal of\nthis talk is to describe how individual packets 
 are processed in the kernel\nOVS datapath and to provide a bottom-up way o
 f mapping the processing\nsteps to the upper layers\, in this order:\n- OV
 S kernel datapath flows\n- OVS OpenFlow rules\n- OVN logical flows\n- OVN

DESCRIPTION:RISC-V is an open standard instruction set architecture that h
 as potential to be widely used as an alternative to existing ARM and x86 s
 olutions. For the software developers it's beneficial to keep up with this
  technology and test early. At the moment it might be challenging to get r
 eal RISC-V hardware\, however there is an alternative by using emulators s
 uch as QEMU. This short talk presents the journey and challenges we faced 
 when testing our application on RISC-V Fedora in a VM and in a podman cont
 ainer.
