DESCRIPTION:RPM packaging is a foundation of the software delivery mechani
 sm on RPM-based Linux distributions\, with RPM spec files acting as bluepr
 ints for package builds. Despite their enduring relevance\, support for ed
 iting RPM spec files has not evolved significantly over time\, leaving use
 rs with rudimentary tooling.\n\nIn response to this challenge\, we have de
 veloped a prototype of a language server tailored specifically for RPM spe
 c files. Based on a language server protocol\, the solution offers a unifi
 ed editing experience across various editors\, giving users features like 
 auto-completion\, linting\, and jump-to-definition. All of this is achieve
 d by centralizing "code smarts" in one place.\n\nJoin us to learn about th
 e thinking behind the language server and the challenges we faced when imp
 lementing this new tool.
