With 10 years of experience at Red Hat, I have seen and tangled with many performance issues and truly enjoy pushing our products to their limits.

There are few cluster interactions that are more noticeable than installation success and time. It is our first exposure to a product and if it does not go well it may be our last encounter with it. The goal is to make it an interaction that is boring and quickly forgotten. Come on our journey of triumph and tribulations as we discuss how, through extensive testing, the Red Hat OpenShift Performance and Scale team was able to achieve a consistent and reliable installation time and more importantly, a good first user experience on ROSA with Hosted Control Planes.
