Building the Community Enterprise Operating System through CentOS Stream

In 2019, the CentOS Project unveiled CentOS Stream, a distribution where the community could collaborate and contribute to the future of Enterprise Linux. Today, there's a burgeoning and vibrant community of makers and shakers that leverage CentOS Stream to support each other and the wider ecosystem.

In this talk, we'll introduce CentOS Stream, talk about what it has enabled, and dive into one of the major groups, the CentOS Hyperscale SIG, building on it and how they support the CentOS and Enterprise Linux community at large.

Neal is a developer and contributor in Fedora; Mageia; and openSUSE, focusing primarily on the base Linux system components (such as package and software management) and the Linux desktop. He's a big believer in "upstream first", which has led him all over the open source world. He is the principal consultant at Velocity Limitless, a consultancy focusing on open source software solutions.
