DESCRIPTION:Digital sovereignty is often reduced to one question: “Where
  is the data stored?” But real digital autonomy goes much further. The E
 uropean Commission’s new Cloud Sovereignty Framework evaluates cloud pro
 viders across eight dimensions: strategic\, legal\, data and AI\, operatio
 nal\, supply chain\, technology\, security and compliance\, and environmen
 tal sustainability.\n\nThis talk translates that framework into a practica
 l checklist for Swiss organizations\, public institutions\, NGOs\, and ope
 n source communities. We will look at why sovereignty is not just a compli
 ance topic\, but a question of long-term digital sustainability: Can we un
 derstand\, operate\, migrate\, audit\, and improve the systems we depend o
 n? And how do open source\, open standards\, transparent supply chains\, a
