Explaining how the Internet Works
Since I am periodically invited to hold basic IT workshops for feminist and local cultural groups, I have a collection of material that I use to explain how the Internet works. I would like to bring these materials to consider together in a group how they might be improved, and to share and exchange with others who might have other materials for workshops.
The Austrian government has recently launched a new program that provides funding for workshops on digital security and using digital services, but I am suspicious of the aims of this program. So I would also like to use this session for a critical exchange about how to subvert these kinds of programs, but perhaps without losing the funding opportunity.
