The current incentive systems for many applications and ecosystems in crypto are naive and will not extend to mainstream consumer adoption.
We will talk through a new framework to help projects think about how to appeal to mainstream users and share some examples for how we are using it at Icebreaker (eg getting people to run without monetary incentives).
We might even do a live demonstration :)

Almost every project needs to find ways to motivate and retain users, yet the most widely used rewards- monetary ones- are extremely inefficient.
This talk will help every attendee uplevel their thinking to work with much higher efficiency motivators (like experiential and social incentives) which will be good for their projects and crypto as an ecosystem.
Learnings each attendee will hopefully take away:
1. How to immediately recognize and differentiate the potency of different types of motivators
2. Why every project should start thinking about introducing higher efficiency motivators into their retention model
3. Some concrete examples and ideas for how they can begin using these psychological superpowers that are the products of 100m years of evolution.
