Diverse, open and ethical cultural data in the era of machine learning

AI and machine learning are a point of disruption for our sector. It challenges the principles of openness and mutuality we have developed around data sharing and data reuse during small scale, grass roots initiatives to large data projects. The question now is how cultural heritage can respond to this description and start taking a position.
