DESCRIPTION:In 2022\, the Complutense University of Madrid conducted a citi
 zen participation process to investigate the state of digital cultural her
 itage across its university museums\, collections and archives. This proce
 ss aimed to learn how different stakeholders (lecturers and professors\, r
 esearchers\, students and curators) use heritage materials for teaching an
 d scientific dissemination. \n\nAfter evaluating the results of this proce
 ss\, the researchers chose the Medialab Madrid Archive as a case study for
  designing\, developing and assessing the use of digital heritage material
 s through participatory methods that included all stakeholders. \n\nThis l
 ightning talk will show the open access demo developed following a partici
 patory design methodology. Thanks to this platform\, lecturers and profess
 ors\, curators\, students or researchers can easily create digital educati
 onal resources with digital heritage to help them in their classes\, studi
 es\, research or for scientific dissemination\, utilizing effective commun
 ication strategies and tools. Evaluations of these materials have shown th
 at they improve student understanding of educational content and help to a
 chieve the learning outcomes.
