State of GDAL presents the latest updates on the GDAL community and new features, among which GDAL 3.1
After a quick overview of the current capabilities and a project status, we will focus on recent developments and achievements that will be available in GDAL 3.1. In particular, new drivers such as FlatGeoBuf, Cloud Optimized GeoTIFF, EXR, or the infrastructure to write vector drivers in Python. We will
also present the multidimensional raster API and tools. And new tools like gdal_viewshed.
