My objective is to contribute to an ecologically sound, economically successful and socially balanced world, in which my kids should grow up in. I believe that simplified access to high-quality geoinformation is one of the most important building blocks, as around 80% of all data worldwide has a spatial reference.
Therefore, with my great team at CISS TDI GmbH we procure and enhance geodata with our own tools and make them available via platforms.
My main area of interest has always been #data. Currently I’m focussing on geospatial information and how they can help building a sustainable and digitized society.

KIBI nutzt offene Geodaten und frei verfügbare KI-Modelle, um geschützte Pflanzengesellschaften automatisiert aus Fernerkundungsdaten zu kartieren. Ziel ist es, aktuelle, landesweite Grünlandinformationen zu gewinnen, die Infrastrukturplanung und das Umweltmonitoring zu erleichtern. Das Projekt entwickelt basierend auf offenen Modellen und stellt Ergebnisse für Rheinland-Pfalz als Open Data bereit.
