Robert Henschel [Cendio]

Robert Henschel is the HPC and Public Sector lead at Cendio AB, the Swedish company producing the ThinLinc Linux terminal server software. He has more than 20 years of experience in High Performance Computing. Henschel also holds a part time position at Indiana University, where he works with research groups to take advantage of the HPC computing and storage solutions provided by the university.

Supporting Interactive Graphical Applications with ThinLinc in Open OnDemand

This session will introduce ThinLinc and how to use it together with Open OnDemand. ThinLinc is a Linux terminal server solution that is used at HPC centers around the world to support access to interactive graphical Linux applications. The ThinLinc team is working with the OOD team to integrate ThinLinc into OOD and this session will go over the technical work as well as the features of the integration. This session will also include a demo of the current beta release.
