Julia Gender Inclusive is an initiative that supports gender diversity in the Julia community. Over the last year, we have worked toward doing so through meetups and workshops for community building and education. In this Birds-of-Feather session, we hope to discuss current and future initiatives with other people with underrepresented genders, as well as supportive allies.

The objective of this BoF is to find more people who feel their gender is underrepresented within the Julia community or want to support people who feel so. We aim to create a safe and fruitful discussion about gender diversity, increase awareness of our current initiatives, and receive input on new actions we can take as Julia Gender Inclusive.
An initiative to promote gender diversity and inclusion within the wider Julia community. We aim to do this through a combination of community building, targeted outreach, education, mentorship, and mutual support.
