An hour for users of Makie.jl to gather, show off cool plots, and talk about the state of the Makie ecosystem!
Will be pretty free-form - starting out with a 10-minute recap of what's happened in Makie world since last year, and then going to free-form discussion. I'll also ask around if people would like to show off their own packages or plots.
We will also have updates from Makie devs on:
- Ray tracing backend, fully native in Julia
- Geospatial plotting on the 3D globe
and more! This will keep changing as we get more features in :)
Product engineer for Dyad, the new modeling and simulation language from JuliaHub. Also heavily involved in geospatial (via JuliaGeo and GeometryOps.jl) and Makie.jl, as well as the Documenter.jl ecosystem.
