Free Software Legal and Licensing Workshop Online 2021

Since 2008, the FSFE Free Software Legal and Licensing Workshop (LLW) has been the world's premier event for debating, discussing, and sharing knowledge about Free Software legal affairs around a central unifying theme.

In 2021, share your knowledge with other legal experts, technologists, and thought leaders. By submitting your topic for consideration for the LLW 2021, you will be part of the momentum to advance the state of the art of knowledge in the field of Free Software legal and licensing issues.

With the current worldwide outbreak of COVID-19, the FSFE's most important concern is the health and safety of all participants, presenters, and staff. Accordingly, the LLW 2021 will be not be organized in a physical space, but will be held online. To this end, the LLW 2021 will be organized as a series of online talks and discussions that will take place between March and May of 2021, as a remote replacement for the conference. We hope that these online sessions will take the place of a "traditional" online conference structure, as it allows Legal Network members the flexibility to space their participation over a greater period of time, rather than having to commit to a full day or two of presentations.
