Bitcoin mining, similar to gold mining, is a capital intensive process with highly specialized infrastructure. Methods of financing these endeavors are rapidly developing and often dictate how businesses survive, thrive, or die. This discussion will discuss equity, debt, and alternative financing structures for miners and some potential implications of each.

First employee at GRIID Infrastructure, Harry has led the strategy function at the company since inception. This has taken the company to four industrial scale mining facilities across two states and they are now in the midst of a public market transaction to further support growth. At GRIID he leads power acquisition, ASIC acquisition, corporate development, and special situations.

In 2021 Ghazaleh left her career with a global leader in Life Sciences and Fortune 100 company to pursue her passion for Bitcoin. In her previous role she managed $1billion logistics and distribution annually, working with operations across 10 countries.

In her previous experience, Ghazaleh worked for two low-cost airlines, and led the cost transformation at Frontier Airlines which allowed for acquisition by private equity. Subsequently she joined Brightline, a multi-billion-dollar startup in Miami, FL developing passenger trains and mixed-use train stations throughout South Florida.

Grant is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of Ten31, the leading venture platform investing exclusively in companies building infrastructure and technology in the bitcoin ecosystem. With a footprint in New York, Austin, and Nashville, Ten31 seeks to support the ecosystem's most promising founders and companies, leveraging its deep understanding of bitcoin, extensive experience, and broad reach to create value for its partners. Since its inception, Ten31 has directed more than $100 million in equity to companies building on Bitcoin and the Lightning Network.

Prior to Ten31, Grant spent 15 years at CVC Capital Partners, one of the largest and most successful private equity firms globally, most recently leading the US efforts of CVC's Strategic Opportunities platform.

Grant graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with degrees in electrical engineering and math.

Andrew brings 10 years of private market investing & private fund operations / strategy experience to lead Hash Function company and investment operations, investment & strategy execution, and product development.

For the past five years, Andrew was a member of an investment team at BlackRock, investing and managing diversified multi-alternative private market portfolios. He helped grow the team from $5bn to $10bn focusing on investment & fund structuring ,execution, and operations. He later managed the PnL and focused on business strategy, process, and partnerships.

Prior to BlackRock, he was a member of the GP team at The Wolff Company, a fully integrated real estate private equity firm. In 2022, Andrew made the leap -- becoming a full-time Bitcoiner and co-founding Hash Function.
