What does the world in 2030 look like? Machines are getting smarter. Some of them will work for you, sometimes you’ll work for them - or even in them. More and more, you’ll work side by side to get things done. Which skills do young people need to master to create human-machine collaboration?
Collaborate to design and share original art, music, games, and stories that will support young people to imagine the future. Your art, music, game or story will be published at the Cities of Learning Platform so other young people can use your resource. Learn and at the same time raise young people’s awareness about human-machine collaboration. Everyone interested is welcome!
We are able to work with 3 but also with 30 participants due to the format of our workshop. When a lot of people participate we will organise a topic poll during our workshop and then see which people have a similar interest and probably want to collaborate. We will invite young people from the project Youth co-design Cities of Learning who understand the Befriend the Machine skills zone to support our process during the workshop. When having a bigger group, these young people will take part in the several break-out rooms.
We're hoping that many efforts and discussions will continue after Mozfest. Share any ideas you already have for how to continue the work from your session.:- This activity is also visible at our online Cities of Learning platform ( https://tilburg.cityoflearning.eu/nl/activities/11139 ) to interest young people to take part in Mozfest.
- Participants have the opportunity to share their developed awareness campaign products on the diverse City of Learning platforms in Europe and beyond.
- Young people and the business field that participated have the opportunity to further develop together during follow up activities
- The learning we gain as facilitators about how young people see the needed skills for 2030 will be used to teach other young people during the Youth co-design Cities of Learning project and shared on social media.
The outcome of this session is the start of an awareness campaign (can be very small and start with yourself and your peers) about developing Befriend of the Machines skills. The future starts today! As a little help, here is a way to connect your campaign with other people in the world.
