GRX Immersive Labs’ prestigious virtual reality studio exhibits the pilot version of their cross-platform experience, POV: Points of View.
The on-demand program is a sci-fi immersive project aiming to create a platform to educate future generations on emerging tech literacy.
Combined with their interactive workshop program and virtual reality film, GRX Immersive aims to motivate communities through storytelling to engage with civic technology in order to influence positive oversight into the research and development of emerging technologies like facial recognition, data/privacy surveillance, and A.I.
This exhibition is available on-demand at no limit or capacity to engage with the content. The experience is estimated to take thirty minutes to complete from start to finish.
What is the goal and/or outcome of your session?:This MozFest exhibition is a kick-off to numerous collaborations with educational & justice reform institutions for the year. This pilot experience is to gain feedback and thoughts in order to better inform the future expansion and interactive features of POV: Points of View.

POV: Points of View will eventually expand into a virtual reality series, augmented reality, Web XR, and eventually become a location-based experience while continuing to grow and expand a community of people interested in developing solutions that address this ongoing issue of implicit biases in emerging technology and predictive policing.
