Want to learn how to code creative projects? Come join us to learn how to make a simple game in CMU CS Academy! Whether you’re a complete beginner, or have a little bit of coding skill, during this session you’ll learn the basics of programming in Python! Students and Teachers are welcome to join.
We hope that students and educators will continue to use CMU CS Academy after MozFest and continue learning Computer Science in their classrooms. We also hope to act as a basic introduction to interactive projects that students can use in the Hackathon during the festival.

How will you deal with varying numbers of participants in your session?:The session will utilize materials designed for varying classroom sizes and will be hosted by an educator that has worked with multiple different class sizes! We’ll have support from additional CMU CS Academy staff to answer questions in the Chat, and potentially help participants in breakout rooms if needed.
