Getting to know micro:bit v2

Taking the participants through what the micro:bit is and the differences between v1 and v2. Then dig into coding the new functions of the v2 micro:bit.

What is the goal and/or outcome of your session?:

The goal of this session is to inform people about the new micro:bit and hopefully get people excited about coding by showing them it doesn't have to just be text on a screen you can program physical things too.

We're hoping that many efforts and discussions will continue after Mozfest. Share any ideas you already have for how to continue the work from your session.:

I plan on continuing my work after Mozfest by running workshops back home at a code club and the wider community especially targeting the deprived areas of the community. So the kids that may not normally get to take part in such workshops because of the cost.

How will you deal with varying numbers of participants in your session?:

Doesn't matter how many participants there are the session will still go as planned. If there are very little participants within the session this could lead to more participant engagement.
