Kongress: highlighting barriers to engagement for Neurodivergent creatives.

To examine and discuss the findings of a recent commissioned Survey and report on ‘barriers Neurodivergent creatives face in the arts’ and workshop ideas with the wider ’Neurodiversiverse’ for consensus on a way forward to dismantle these barriers to enable Neurodivergent wellbeing and creative fulfillment.

What is the goal and/or outcome of your session?:

To examine and discuss the findings of a recent commissioned Survey and report on ‘barriers Neurodivergent creatives face in the arts’ and workshop ideas for consensus on a way forward to dismantle these barriers thru hearing authentic experience bringing together ND creatives worldwide to jointly discus ‘what's next’ to enable Neurodivergent wellbeing and creative fulfillment.

How will you deal with varying numbers of participants in your session?:

We are very mindful of this and have experienced both large and small groups of participants. If it’s only a few attendees, then the discussion will be more personal and intimate. The more people, the wider and more far reaching the discussion.

We're hoping that many efforts and discussions will continue after Mozfest. Share any ideas you already have for how to continue the work from your session.:

It is of vital importance that the barriers to engagement for Neurodivergent people are recognised and not allowed to slip away but be addressed. However, with the barriers now identified, it is crucial that we take these findings and implement them into society; we intend to work with organisations to achieve equality of opportunity, influence research in the N.D debate and further campaign advocate and showcase N.D creative people richness. Being able to do this with ND Mozilla would provide a launch space and catalyst to further inform a wider audience
