What is the line between “real” and “artificial” intelligence? How do we know truth?
As we invite artificial intelligence to help make sense of the world it is important to tend to our other intuitions. This space is for individuals to share their experience of the world by tapping into spiritual, emotional, physical, and rational senses. The workshop draws from the Work that Reconnects, a process designed for people to grieve, take actions with integrity and open space for creativity.
We will include group time, break out discussions and/or individual reflection (journaling, drawing, thinking). Folks may engage on or off camera, through writing, drawing or speaking.
The goal of the session is for participants to feel connected and aligned with their work, passion for tech and experience at Mozfest. I want folks to feel open and able to engage with their full selves compassionately. I want folks to feel the ability to easily bring their spiritual, emotional, ancestral and wild senses into tech ideation and creation.
Personally, I would love feedback on the session itself. I want to hear about the experience of the participants, learn what was impactful and valuable.
We're hoping that many efforts and discussions will continue after Mozfest. Share any ideas you already have for how to continue the work from your session.:I intend to offer a continuation of this workshop for any participant(s) that feel led. I have budgeted time for follow up sessions in my work/life.
I can also offer individual direction for people to go further on their own or without internet access.
I am open to anyone giving feedback and will set up a time outside of Mozfest for folks to share their experience of the workshop. I would LOVE if someone is so enlivened with my session that they want to join me in working on creating processes for people to access grief and emotion in their work and bring together various ways of knowing.
How will you deal with varying numbers of participants in your session?:I have done this workshop with as few as 2 people and as many as 25. I will have various modifications on deck to to accommodate whatever size group easily.
We will use a combo of breakout rooms, individual prompts and larger group discussions.
