Cheryl Finley is the Inaugural Director of the Atlanta University Center Art History + Curatorial Studies Collective and Distinguished Visiting Professor in the Department of Art & Visual Culture at Spelman College. Committed to engaging strategic partners to transform the art and culture industry, she leads an innovative undergraduate program at the world’s largest historically Black college and university consortium in preparing the next generation of African American museum and visual arts professionals.
Kamal Sinclair, is the Executive Director of Guild of Future Architects, co-author of Making a New Reality, and artist at Sinclair Futures. She served as External Advisor to MacArthur Foundation's Journalism & Media Program, Ford Foundation’s JustFilms, NEW INC.’s ONX Studio, Civic Signals, For Freedoms, MIT’s Center for Advanced Virtuality, Starfish Accelerator, and Eyebeam. Previously, she directed Sundance Institute’s New Frontier Labs Program, which supports artists at the convergence of film, art, media and technology. Sinclair was an artist on Question Bridge: Black Males, which had an interactive website and curriculum; a published book; and installations exhibited in 60+ museums/festivals.
