Mastodon has been in the news recently.
However it only a part of much bigger network called the fediverse, which has the W3C's activitypub at the heart of it.
In this session we will explore other platform possibilities, building on Activitypub to foster better social media, community experiences and better transparency which works for different people.
Overall knowledge of the fediverse and its diverse number of services would be an advantage but not essential as we are designing together
