The incommensurability of foreign school leaving certificates poses a major challenge to universities and prospective students alike. A way to ensure a fair assessment of academic qualification gained abroad is an academic aptitude test such as the newly introduced digital format of the TestAS. It is a standardised, fair, highly valid yet flexible and efficient instrument, thus meeting the needs of equally universities and appliccants.
