Anna Chekhovich
Anna Chekhovich is a member of the Financial Freedom team at the Human Rights Foundation (HRF), where she focuses on educating activists and NGOs in authoritarian regimes on adopting Bitcoin to enhance financial autonomy and privacy. She began her finance career in 2017 at Alexei Navalny's Anti-Corruption Foundation (ACF), a leading Russian opposition organization that has used Bitcoin since 2016 to bypass government surveillance and sustain its operations. Since joining HRF in 2024, Anna has been dedicated to helping nonprofits and activists securely integrate Bitcoin into their work, empowering them to resist financial repression and operate with greater independence.
